Z'odd Design - Universal Studios Singapore

Z’odd Design Sdn Bhd (“Z’odd) recently completed and handed-over its theming jobs to Universal Studios Singapore at Resort Worlds Sentosa; on time for its Phase One opening slated to be in January 2010. Z’odd through its association with the Kingsmen Group (Singapore) secured theming works under the Dreamworks package as well as the fabrication and supply of large scale food and retail carts to be placed at the strategic locations within the Theme Park. The Dreamworks package includes rockworks, fibreglass cladding, scenic painting, sculpturing works as well as props production of 3-D cartoon characters for its merchandise and retail outlets.

Z’odd has also successfully completed a project in China, “Qingdao Powerlong Amusement Park” dubbed the largest indoor theme park project in China. The project designed following the theme from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” and occupies the entire lower ground floor of the top-grade Qingdao Chengyang Powerlong Urban Plaza, was officially handed-over on 30 September 2009, on time for China’s 60th Anniversary celebration. Z’odd provided the technical know-how, art direction and supervision for this 5-months fast track project which features unique rock works surrounding the water canal, thematic wall façade for the retail and merchandise outlets, scenic painting and sculptural works.
